Success!!

The shelter 10th anniversary event was a success. I am publishing a picture only for continuity, not because everyone will be very interested. We had 100 people there, lots of pastries, sandwiches, hummus and chicken wings, the speeches were thoughtful, the guests all enjoyed themselves and nothing bad happened. Lots of people helped me make this party happen, and I have a lot of thank you notes to write on Friday. I'm safe at home, tired, and very very grateful that tomorrow is Veterans Day and I can stay home and read or knit or go buy EQII or go shopping, or whatever I want to do. I'm dog tired, but...I did my job, all went well, and it's over. Hip hip...hurray!
